Our History
When Rik Heller founded Wello, he had already spent decades pioneering technology that helps stop the spread of life-threatening illness. From developing innovative, automated wireless temperature monitoring sensors and cloud-based technology for healthcare and foodservice for FreshLoc Technologies, Inc. (later acquired by Mesa Labs) to helping control the spread of ebola abroad, his work has culminated in a solution that helps keep thousands of people safe at work each day.
After rigorous clinical trials and an FDA clearance process, Wello brought its flagship product, the welloStationX to market in 2018. The mission was clear: break the chain of infection and maintain a safe, healthy workplace for all.
